Hello hello!!
Well transfers happened this week and I got transferred to the Belleview YSA ward!! I think I went from one of the smallest areas in the mission to the biggest! Since it's a YSA ward, we cover multiple stakes and our boundaries go to the border of Utah but most of the people who come live locally. I live in Morrison which is basically in Lakewood which is where my first area, Red Rocks, is! It's not super far from Highlands Ranch either.
I have absolutely loved being in the YSA so far! It is such a party!! I love all the members already and it's so fun that they're all around my age! We had a linger longer with waffles after church yesterday, we have FHE tonight, institute on Thursdays (at the Saddle Ranch building in HR!!) and lots of other fun activities! The only downside is that we don't get fed very much so I'll be practicing my cooking skills.
I'm in a trio! My companions are Sister Hassler and Sister Syme and I love them both!! Sister Hassler is actually going to her original mission in Brazil on Friday so we'll only be with her for a little longer and then it'll just be me and Sister Syme.
I'm now in the Columbine zone and we split the YSA ward with the zone leaders who are also in a trio so there are 6 of us missionaries in the ward right now haha. We are the STLs over the Columbine zone and the Front Range zone (my first zone) so we work with those zone leaders too. We just have one companionship of Sisters in each zone though.
Leaving Saddle Ranch was the hardest thing ever :((( I love those people with my whole heart and I will definitely be going back to visit after the mission. It was also so sad to leave Sister Ray. She is the best and I just love her so much. We got our second covid shots the day before transfers which was pretty rough since we didn't feel great.
I'm starting my 8th transfer which is WILD. Time is seriously flying. I just love serving the Lord so much!!
