Hello everyone! Not too much happened this week but it was still really good! I've just been trying to enjoy every moment I have left here because I'm worried I might be getting transferred this week!
We had combined district council this week and it went super well! We just did a bunch of roleplays so we didn't have to train for very long haha. The Highlands Ranch zone is headed in the right direction and it is super exciting to see all the progress!
We had a great lesson with Young Lim who told us he had read 3 Nephi 11 twice to make sure he understood it and did research on who Nephi is! We also got a member involved who went to Korea on his mission which is where Young is from. Young also watched the link for church so we are excited for him!
I think I forgot to say this last week but the Saddle Ranch ward got a new bishopric and Elder's quorum presidency! Our ward mission leader, Brother Brimhall, was called to be the Elder's quorum President and we still don't have a new ward mission leader. We also had 2nd hour (Sunday school) in person for the first time yesterday!
We also had a cool lesson with some kids from a school called Valor Christian High School in the area who were doing a project for their religion class. We taught them the Restoration and part of the Plan of Salvation to answer all of their questions. We were worried they would try to bash us but they were actually super respectful and we had a great conversation!
That's all for this week, but stay tuned for next week! I could be in a different part of Colorado! Oh also, today is my 11 month mark! It is going by way too fast :(
